Today I have soo much to write about that I'm giving you guys a "SweetTreat" lol. Three blogs in one :)

"The Wonderful World of Weaves"

If I haven't seen such a bad weave in my life I def. saw it today. I personally am not a fan of weaves for myself (I'm a short hair lover) but for all those that are, thats more than fine. But ladies, when you decide to enter the "wonderful world of weaves" please take care of the hair you paid for. Make sure it looks good at ALL times. Lets remember, this is not your real hair growing from your head that you can just throw in a ponytail on a bad day... When the hairs of your weave begin to look like a old rug (frizzy with beads on it and no longer smooth and attractive) it's time to take it out. Matter of fact, the weave should be out before it even reaches this point. Not to be mean to anyone, but I'm just saying what everyone else is thinking. Its def. not a cute look. Especially not when the hair is two diff colors :(

"Where did your eyebrows go?"

I remember when I first started to get my eyebrows done and my mother told me "dont get them skinny, thats for hookers" lol. She was told this b her grandmother when she was younger. I dont know if this is true or not but I will say that the skinny line eyebrows are not cute. Especially when you purposely drew them on that way. Dont shave, wax, thread or pluck until there is nothing there. Two thin lines of hair on your forehead dont exactly count as eyebrows ;p Lets try to let them grow back and work on: Trimming, shaping and arching. Remember: too much of anything is not good...this def includes the wax, thread, pluck and shave.

"Intervention of the female man"

Men of my time, I have one question. When did it become sexy for you and I to wear the same size jeans and sweaters? Lets make one thing very clear. A lady is looking for a MAN! Not a male friend thats dressing as though he's been shopping in her closet. The tight jeans (especially in colors) is a negative. Leave this to the females. Sweaters that clearly look like you were shopping in the women's department in your local store...do I really need to comment?

Pink has truthfully become a color for men. Of course you guys can wear it with no problem....But hot pink?! I saw a guy (of my generation) wearing a tight, hot pink hoodie. Um can I say thats a little too much? You're def pushing it. If you're going to go fitted thats fine, but your jeans should not be colored pink, yellow, zebra stripped or whatever else. Damn sure should'nt be hugging your ass and thighs the way they do your girl :/ Not to mention, if your jeans are any size between 0 and 16 (even the low 20s) you may want to consider finding out where they keep the mens jeans in the places you shop. Whats next? A purse that matches mine? (also known as you man bag)....Get it together!

I don't usually take the mixtapes on the street from people who randomly approach me....but this day I did...

Walking home, a young man approaches me (of course I think he's trying to spit game lol) with CD in hand, approaching me with much respect... I dont remember the convo, just that when I got home and put that CD in the system... I was def blown away. Music blasting, songs on repeat, my new fav artist..... DABBZ!

SMILEZ: O OK...SO I KNOW YOU JUST DROPPED ANOTHER MIXTAPE NOT TOO LONG AGO..."THE FIXX". WHAT MADE YOU CHOSE THAT TITLE?

DABBZ: I CHOSE THAT NAME BECAUSE I PERSONALLY FEEL THAT WHILE RAPPERS ARE PROGRESSING MONEY WISE AND COMMERCIALLY THE FEELING IN MOST MUZIK IS GONE. EVERYONE IS BALLIN AND POPPIN BOTTLES AND GOT THE FLYEST CARS AND GIRLS. WHAT HAPPENED TO MAKIN QUALITY CONCEPTUALLY CREATIVE MUZIK.

The fight for short hair :)

Question... when did it become a problem for women to have short hair? Halle Berry had it for I dont know how long and she is one of the most beautiful women on the planet (says men). I do think she is gorgeous but why can't us regular ladies get that same recognition? I have seen plenty of short hair, bald, ceasar wearing ladies that i think are GORGEOUS. I used to be a long hair lover. I had long her for the longest and once I decided to cut it off.....all hell broke loose. lol. I got everything from im going to look ugly, why would I want to cut all my hair off, I'm not a boy blah blah blah. My family didn't understand why I would do such a thing and one guy even told me "why would you cut all your long hair off when there are girls out here whose hair wont grow? They have to deal with having short hair while you are choosing to be bald".

Lets make one thing clear ladies and gentlemen. My hair does not define me! I'm still the same girl and I actually think I look better without hair ;p. The first time I cut it off (march 2009) I left some hair on my head was a little nervous about taking it all off. Then I decided to let it grow back and be a long hair lover once again and then......

I woke up one morning and said to myself..."I'm taking it all off!" (my hair that is lol) Saturday I went to my wonderful stylist and chopped it off. I got it low, low, low, low,low. LOVE IT!!!!!

Forget having hair. Im supporting my short hair having ladies until the end! WE STILL GOT IT GOING ON! LOL ;)
